  What my pupils say...

Here are some of the lovely things my pupils have said about the stuff we do. And I didn't even have to bribe them (very much)...

Sarah Ibberson music teacher

"The boy wonder played his electric piece at the New Boys' concert on Saturday in front of 450 people and nailed it... He was nervous, but we told him to imagine you with him, and he did really well. We have you to thank for turning him into a performer."

A.L. (parent)

"Sarah's ability to connect with and teach pupils of all ages, characters and abilities is a rare talent. Anyone lucky enough to be taught by her cannot help but be inspired and motivated by her musicianship and zeal."

L.H. (parent)

"After three years of lessons and four piano teachers, I was beginning to think maybe we should give up on music for my nine year old; it was a battle all the time. Yet when noone was looking he'd go to the piano and make up tunes. Sarah started off by teaching him composition and encouraging him to try things out; then one day out of the blue he asked if he could take Grade 1. It's such a contrast to find him enjoying the piano and wanting to practice. He told me the other day 'I love lessons with Sarah'."

C.S. (parent)

"If it hadn't been for you there is no way I would have carried on because I lost momentum. You reinspired me and gave me lessons that were a relaxing haven."

A.N. (student), 16

"Sarah is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."

R.D. (student), 17

"Sarah is a great teacher - when she is explaining something to me I always understand what she is saying. I really enjoyed goingto see Whalebone, the live band she is in."
M.R. (student), 11

"I have found Sarah inspirational, she seems to really understand Mollie, and even when Mollie has found aspects of learning the violin difficult she always comes out of the lessons with renewed enthusiasm. Sarah puts so much effort into encouraging the children in their journey, and we especially love the Cake Concerts."

S.F. (parent)

"Starting violin as a golden oldie was a challenge - until I met Sarah. Well, it still is a challenge, but we have fun and after every lesson I come away feeling I've achieved something. Sarah is an instinctive teacher who knows how to get the best out of people."

L.T. (adult student)
